Introduction of HARMONY – PRODUCT MATRIX

Harmony is an additional module in Simphony allowing user to Record:

Customer Live Product Matrix
Global Customer Information

(Note: SIMPhony platform has been selected as all projects’ details are already available in this platform, speed of deployment and uncommitted ERP roadmap.)

Objective

In Harmony, the IATF Process Flow Check has been introduced to provide an extra level of Quality Process Checks. It will enable us to anticipate further Migration Plans, have a clear view of our active products, easy handovers when required and so on….

In Order to provide the more robust and clean check process on Harmony for Automotive Check at SIT level will be in place. This will provide an easy way to replace existing PSW/ Waiver Management Flow. It will also enable Harmony to manage Automotive /IOT Item Management.

Automotive and IOT Item Management

PSW (kind of acceptance for automotive) associated with CP/Item (Tier-1 or Car Maker) to allow production
Several CP/Item can be associated to the same BAP Perso Code
Ordering Flow reference
A Perso Code / Artwork belongs to SM-SR owner (Car Maker most often)
A CP/Item Code & KCON belong to the Tier1 (The customer buying the MFF2 and mounting it for Car Maker)
A Perso Code can be developed in several Factory

IATF PROCESS CHECK IMPLEMENTATION

IATF Process Check Implementation

IATF Process rule works same as Standard Process Type works in Harmony currently except for Few changes
In IATF Process , Along with Compatibility check request will also go for Sample Check and then Live of the request depending upon the Request Status
SIT requests with IATF Process Type have been categorically defined like Before Sample Approval, Post Sample Approval and then Finally Approved
If SIT request with IATF Process has Form Factor ( VQFN8 , USNO8-Q) then there will be no Sample check, request will be live Directly. ( Current Process in Harmony )
If Request having compatibility check already been done at Harmony end, then once again if same combination of request gets created then request will go to live directly only when Request gets live completely. Merely Sample check will not confirm the request will be live in case of IATF Process

When SIT Request status below Pending Sample Approval then Request will be created under My Ongoing
When SIT Request Status Ready for Sample then Request will be sent to sample for Installation team to Verify the same.
When Sample Check performed okay by the Installation team then Request will be back to respective TC & CS to Cross check the same and send once again for Live if SIT request gets approved only.
When SIT Request will go for sample then TC/CS can only select the PSW status as “Sample – Waiver for Prototype “
When SIT Request sample gets approved then TC/CS can only select the PSW status as “Sample – Waiver for Ramp-up | Live – Interim PSW | Live – PSW (Definitive) | PSW Not Required “
If PSW Status set as “PSW Not Required “then PSW Document upload will be non-mandatory
When Request goes for sample then respective Files will be used by TC/CS for file attachment as Waiver or Interim PSW
When Request goes for Live then respective Files will be used by TC/CS for file attachment as PSW
Additional files can be attached by TC/CS for both the cases like Go for Sample or Send to Live case
All Additional checks related to BAP Zone and BAT Zone will be same as current Non- IATF Process
In case of IATF Process type for all the region, KCON will not be mandatory
When Sample Approval done by Installation team and then request will be sent for live depending upon the compatibility check has been required or not.
Post sample approval, if compatibility check has been done then request will go live directly
